Corrects bugs in the final version of the game and adds some much needed additional features such as Rally Points, Custom Build Queues, Extra Shortcuts for better navigation, Better AI, and the list goes on and on. To see the full list you will have to refer to the ReadMe in Files.
Some Bug Fix Highlights:
AI updates to improve game play, resulting in a more capable AI opponent
All missile mods now work correctly (before only MIRV sort-of worked)
Heavy Mount mod for beam weapons now do correct damage at all ranges, instead of doing no damage at long range
Ships specials now will default to auto-cast and the AI will actually use them in combat
Corrected several lockups and stalls found in the ship to ship combat
In total 220+ bugs in the game have been corrected
Two of the biggest requested features added:
Custom Build Queues for planets
Fleet Rally Points
Makes some personal/balance adjustments to the game. Changes how you gain ability perks are level up. Adjusts some starting distinctions. Makes fishing as easy as shooting fish in a barrel. Adjust some encounters and monster inventory, etc.
